Statement regarding adlawgroup

The Law Society welcomes the decision of adlawgroup’s parent company, WBH Legal, to not proceed with the programme. 

In September last year, the Law Society completed its inquiry into adlawgroup and notified the firm of its serious concerns with the proposed programme. 

After the Law Society wrote to adlawgroup outlining its concerns and discouraging the firm from proceeding with the programme, adlawgroup responded to the Law Society to indicate that it had significantly modified its proposed programme model.

The Law Society still had several concerns with the integrity of the program, but did not receive a detailed proposal of the modified programme. 

The Law Society has received no correspondence from adlawgroup since the Law Society issued its public statement on September 21, 2015.
