About the Presenter:
Matthew Eddy is the Founder and CEO of Everingham Legal, a consultancy specialising in legal operations, technology, and AI transformation for corporate legal teams and law firms.
Matthew is a practising lawyer with experience across government, private practice, and legal technology. He started his career at the NSW Attorney General’s Department, working across criminal and civil jurisdictions, followed by several years in private practice in NSW and Victoria. More recently, he has also led go-to-market strategies for both a national law firm and a fast-growing legal technology company in Australia and the United States.
Matthew now advises Legal Leaders on legal technology procurement, contract lifecycle management, AI adoption, and operating model design. His work focuses on helping legal teams modernise how they deliver value to reduce risk, improve efficiency, and build sustainable digital capability.
