Ethics Inquiry Service

Lawyers within the Society’s Ethics and Practice Unit are available to provide members of the legal profession with general guidance in relation to ethical issues and professional obligations.

Inquiries may be made on either an identified or anonymous basis.

Members of the profession who require fact-specific independent legal advice are encouraged to use the Society’s Professional Advice Service.

Identified Ethics Inquiries

Identified inquiries may be pursued via three channels:

  • Email inquiry to [email protected]. Please include in the subject line: ‘Ethics Inquiry’.
  • Telephone inquiry to (08) 8229 0229.
  • Appointment with a lawyer within the Society’s Ethics and Practice Unit.  Please telephone or email to schedule an appointment.
